The passion to grow plants indoor is forcing people to buy expensive hydroponics lights, so that they fulfill the light requirement of plants. Hydroponics gardening is a very sensitive mechanism for growing plants in which you have to take care of the requirements of plants. High Intensity Discharge Lamps – These lighting equipments are specifically designed for those people who are engaged in hydroponics gardening at the commercial level. One thousand watt HID lamp can produce the same amount of light as fifty forty watt fluorescent lamp. There are many categories of HID lamps available in the market like: 

• High Pressure Sodium
• Metal Halide
• Low Pressure Sodium
• Mercury Vapor 

While selecting the HID systems, ensure that you are purchasing the right kind of light for your indoor plant because sometimes the wrong selection of growing lights can adversely affect the growth of the plant.  

Fluorescent lamps – Fluorescent lamps have their symbolic place in the hydroponics gardening, it has proven that they optimize the growth of a plant when it comes out of a seed. They are available in various watts and ensure cool, quiet operation.
