The word “Hydroponics” is derived from Latin, which means, “working water”. It is also called dirt less gardening because the plants are grown without using soil. There is a wide spread misconception about hydroponics gardening, most people think that it is a process of growing plants with their roots suspending in the water, however, it is just one form of hydroponics gardening. 3) – Difference Between Hydroponics, Organic and Regular Fertilizer – Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium are the major nutrients which plants need for an optimal growth. Hydroponics fertilizers and regular fertilizers are aimed to provide these nutrients and in addition they also provide micronutrients. Organic fertilizers are different from the chemical fertilizers in composition and they can be prepared at home by decomposing excreta and other natural waste material.
4) – Complications in Hydroponics Gardening – Hydroponics gardening is completely dependent on machines and human observation. It requires sensors, regulators, computer and better management of devices to enhance their longevity.
5) - Importance of pH – The most important thing, which comes under basics of hydroponics, is pH value of nutrient solution. Actually, a small negligence in determining the pH completely destroys the plant.
